Views of Lübeck's old town island

The Hanseatic city of Lübeck with its seven church towers is often referred to as the "gateway to the north" of Europe and the cultural capital of Schleswig-Holstein. It is certainly one of the most beautiful and impressive cities in northern Germany. This calendar contains pictures of some of the very famous and often photographed brick buildings of the old town, which is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The photographer shows many of these sights from unfamiliar perspectives and in particularly beautiful lighting moods.
