Trifels - Hike on the Annweilerer Burgenweg

In the holiday region of Trifelsland, the Burgenweg leads from Annweiler up to the three castles that were the focus of European history in the Middle Ages. Today the regalia of the Holy Roman Empire can be viewed. The castles Anebos and Scharfenberg (Münz) served to protect the Trifels Imperial Castle. The location on the ridge of a rock is one of the most impressive castle silhouettes in Germany. The ascent to the observation tower on the Rehberg is also worthwhile. The panoramic view is breathtaking.
