The royal lily

The king lily is originally from Sichuan in western China. It was introduced in Europe in 1910. Their scent develops particularly strongly in the morning and in the evening, which is why they should not be placed with other scented plants. A single lily forms between one and eight funnel-shaped flowers and can grow up to 180 cm high. Such large specimens should be supported so that they have support in the wind.
