Syria - memories

The photos of this calendar were taken at the end of 2010 and are among the last documentations of the cultural treasures of Syria before the outbreak of the civil war. They show the capital Damascus, the northern Syrian trading metropolis Aleppo, the Roman ruins of Palmyra and the Christian monastery of St. Moses of Abyssinia (Dair Mar Musa al-Habaschi).
