Street art is a non-commercial, contemporary form of art in public spaces that is often illegal, "unsolicited" and anonymous. The artists use a wide variety of media to present their works. Mostly existing surfaces such as walls, power boxes, lanterns, traffic signs, telephone booths, garbage cans and other street furniture are designed.
