Like no other city on the Middle Rhine, Oberwesel - the city of towers and wine - has preserved the evidence of its medieval buildings and made them accessible to the public. The town wall, which can be walked on in large parts, the Schönburg castle or the churches of the Liebfrauen- und Martinskirche, which can be seen from afar, bear witness to this most of all. The imposing city wall with its 16 preserved defense towers still gives the city its structure today. This wealth of historical architecture is reminiscent of the lively religious, social and economic life of the Middle Ages and shows the importance of the city. The present calendar, consisting of professionally photographed sights of this city, tries to bring these treasures closer to a larger audience. Have fun with it. (more parts will follow)
