Mountains of the Vinschgau

The Vinschgau presents itself as a spacious and diverse area in the center of the Alps. The landscape is rich in contrasts, on the one hand high ice-armored peaks and barren high valleys, on the other hand vineyards, orchards and chestnut forests in its lowlands. The photographs for this calendar show the Val Venosta from its harsh and rugged side. This is underlined by the black-and-white photographs, which are based on classic image conceptions.
