Jeepneys are a typical form of public transport in the Philippines. The origin of the name was American jeeps, which were made two meters longer and had two long rows of seats facing each other. Today's jeepneys are hardly different from the original, still made by hand, mostly from Japanese accessories, and individual in every respect, which is reflected not least in the predominantly colorful paintwork and accessories. This calendar shows jeepneys in Baguio, a mountain town in the Filipino Cordilleras on the island of Luzon.
