Since 1995 the EnduRoMania Foundation has been organizing motor sport tourism in southwestern Romania with a system developed for this purpose (www.enduromania.net). Thanks to the ideal conditions for enduro hiking and practicing other sports, southwestern Romania has become one of the most popular European off-highway tourism destinations for the restricted western motorsport fans. This newly created system consists of a set of rules for the sporting part, tourist information, cartographic material, GPS data for navigation and logistical support. Since 1995 this event has been held over 120 times and several thousand participants from Western Europe have taken part. The pictures shown here were taken during the tours that the OffRoad specialist Eugen Eble (www.eble4x4.de/) organized in cooperation with the EnduRoMania Foundation.
