Heligoland

Germany's unique offshore island offers nature lovers in particular very special experiences outside of the summer high season. In the spring countless northern gannets, guillemots, fulmars and seagulls arrive here to raise their offspring. The gray seals on the offshore dune allow visitors to get up to 30 meters. And skudden and highland cattle graze on the Oberland. Add to that the rugged cliffs, the sometimes stormy North Sea and the indescribable air - whoever has been to Heligoland will always come back!
