Gobi desert

The calendar shows the barren and, in its peace and space, enchanting landscape with the animals that live there. The Gobi is a semi-desert in Mongolia and northern China at an altitude of 1000m, four times the size of Germany. In winter the temperature drops to -60 ° C. Despite the dry climate, there is sparse vegetation and isolated wild animals, such as the wolf. The nomadic people here breed cattle as they did a thousand years ago.
