FLOWER MAGIC

In 1990, the self-taught Eckard Funck began painting watercolours of flowers as eye-catchers for his fashion stores, with colours to match the fashion. Just one year later, he had an exhibition of his flower watercolours in the castle on the island of Mainau in Germany. This was the beginning of his international success in watercolour. Each watercolour - be it a flower or a landscape - is painted directly on the paper, without any preliminary drawing. Eckard Funck lives in Switzerland since 2008.
