Fischland - Darß - Zingst

Fischland-Darß-Zingst is a 45 kilometer long peninsula on the Baltic Sea coast between Rostock and Stralsund. It separates the Darß-Zingster Boddenkette from the open Baltic Sea. The south-western section of the peninsula is formed by the Fischland, followed by the Darß, which is followed by the Zingst peninsula to the east. For a short time, the Große Werder has been part of the peninsula chain due to siltation. The municipalities of Wustrow, Ahrenshoop, Born a. Darß, Wieck a. Darß, Prerow and Zingst.
