In this opulent calendar, the well-known photographer Stefan Bau presents fantastic pictures of the legendary Dannenhauer & Stauss in front of a contemporary backdrop. The recordings were made with a camera from 1954, matching the year of manufacture of the car. A calendar that invites you to dream. The ideal gift for classic cars and car fans! The sporty special bodies for the VW Beetle were built in Stuttgart at the body construction company Dannenhauer & Stauss. From 1951 Gottfried Dannenhauer and his son-in-law dressed the Beetle chassis with a new body. This was mostly shaped by hand on wooden knocking molds. Only doors and hoods were shaped by pressing. Around 80 - 120 vehicles were built in the short production time. Only 17 of these are said to exist.
