Cycladic cats

The Cycladic cat - also known as the Aegean cat - is a type of house cat that originally came from the Cycladic islands of Greece. It is believed to be the only native Greek breed of cats. The Aegean cats are said to be the oldest domesticated cats. Most velvet paws run around freely in Greece, begging at taverns and restaurants, waiting for fishing boats with fresh catches at the harbor, trying to fish small fish out of the water themselves, warming themselves in the sun or lying in a cozy and shady place in summer playing with scraps of paper in the wind.
