Colorful parrots - Intelligent Birds

In addition to the macaws and amazons of South America, Asia and Africa are home to impressively colored parrots that fascinate us. Many of these animals are endangered in the wild. In zoos and bird parks, attempts are made to maintain the diversity of species through captive breeding. Some species are also kept in private homes, hopefully always at least in pairs, as parrots are very sociable and intelligent.
