The six-pointed Zoigl star symbolizes the beer of the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria. Falkenberg's communal brewery is a listed building and is regularly used by private brewers. All pumps and agitators are driven by transmission belts. Unlike most breweries, the wort is still brewed in an open brew kettle. Georg Berg's photo documentation is a perfect gift for friends of German beer.
