The Eternal Lake

This upland moor lake is the largest in Germany and it covers around 1,180 hectares as an entire nature reserve. It is located on the border between the districts of Wittmund and Aurich - near the village of Eversmeer. For this calendar, the author tried to capture the inimitable diversity of nature with the camera at different times of the year. This high moor area fascinates again and again through the change of the seasons and through the multi-faceted play of light and shadow.
