The Brocken Railway

One of the few steam locomotive routes with regular service is in the Harz Mountains. The locomotives of the Harz narrow-gauge railways bring many tourists and hikers to the top of the Brocken every day and safely back down into the valley. The old steam pods are actually the bigger attraction. This wall calendar shows you some of the beautiful tractors.
