Tenerife - dream island in the Atlantic

The landscape spectrum of Tenerife ranges from the barren, stony landscape in the south of the island to the bizarre rock formations of volcanic origin in the Caldera de las Cañadas. In the north of the caldera rises the highest mountain in Spain, the majestic Pico del Teide. The Teno mountains in the west of Tenerife and the Anaga mountains in the far east of the island are particularly interesting for hikers.
