Sunny Sark

Sark is a small island in the Channel Islands in the English Channel, off the coast of Normandy, France. Its small size and remote location have preserved a way of life there lost in Britain fifty years ago. The serenity has only been broken once when it was occupied during World War 2. No cars are allowed on Sark – the only transport is bicycle, foot, or horse or tractor-drawn. The island attracts hundreds of visitors each year who come for the peace, quiet, beauty and wildlife.
