Scottish impressions

Scots all play the bagpipes, are stingy and always have bad weather. On my trip through Scotland I had to sink these prejudices as quickly as possible in Loch Ness. First I got to know the Scottish Highlands on the "West Highland Way", the famous long-distance hiking trail between Glasgow and Fort William, on over 150 km of hiking. Gentle hills, wide valleys, mysterious lochs (lakes) shaped the landscape. The nature and the lighting moods presented themselves differently every day. Pure enjoyment of nature, despite blisters on your feet. After the hike, I enjoyed the grandiose beauty of the Isle of Skye and the west coast of Northern Scotland shaped by the sea, overwhelming how the changing light moods constantly changed the landscape.
