Out and about in the Nürnberger Land

In the Nuremberg district there are many attractive places for which it is worthwhile to pack your hiking boots or your bike to simply enjoy a day outside in nature. Especially between Schnaittach and Hersbruck you can discover particularly beautiful places. Be it Hohenstein Castle, the small pilgrims' church in Bühl, the view from Rothenberg, the plateau at Osternohe and Oberkrumbach, or for a refreshment at the Happurg reservoir. One day is not enough to explore this beautiful hilly landscape. For the hungry hiker, a detour to Kleedorf is worthwhile. In the "Old Castle" he can fortify himself with Franconian delicacies and take the train back to Nuremberg from Hersbruck.
