Offshore island of Heligoland

Helgoland is Germany's only offshore island. What is special about her are the red rocks, the green land, the white beach and all around the blue sea. The island also fascinates with its unique fauna. Well-known seabirds in Heligoland are the oystercatcher and the northern gannet. Seals and gray seals can be seen up close on the Heligoland dune. Heligoland is unique among the North Sea islands.
