Weekly markets are very popular in France. There is a variety of fresh food there and the traders make sure to present their goods in an appealing way. For that reason alone, a walk through such a weekly market is an experience. The photos shown were taken at weekly markets in Brittany. Apart from the spices, the products come from France. Many of the goods on offer are produced in the region. There are also goods from other regions such as fruit from the south or nougat, a specialty from Montélimar in Provence.
