Kastellórizo - easternmost tip of Greece

Visit Kastellórizo with us. The small island is 125 km east of Rhodes, but belongs to Greece. About 400 people live in Megisti, the only place on the island of Kastellórizo. Most of the houses in the town can be found around the harbor bay. Most of the old mansions have been lovingly restored and brightly painted. They form a picturesque backdrop for a walk around the harbor bay. Worth seeing are the remains of the ancient island capital (Paleokastro) and the fortifications from the time of the Crusaders, near the ferry port.
