Experience a pictorial tour through the Chernobyl exclusion zone. Before the reactor accident on April 26, 1984, around 50,000 inhabitants lived in the city of Prypiat, who were evacuated from now on. It was an example instead of the former Soviet Union, where people lived much better than in the rest of the country. The photographer Tom van Dutch has visited the restricted area and shows impressive pictures of the amusement park, the hospital, the school and other buildings in Pripyat and Chernobyl.
