Bee-eater, our most colorful summer guests in Germany

They are probably the most colorful migratory birds that visit us every year from spring in the warmest region of Germany in the Kaiserstuhl. The conditions here are extraordinarily good and so these colorful birds use large partial clay walls in the local vineyards to dig their breeding caves there in order to later feed their offspring with the extensive food supply from this region.
